Why do Yoga?

At Shimmering Lotus we practice Hatha yoga. "Hatha" comes from the Sanskrit words "ha", or sun, and "tha" meaning moon. The philosophy behind Hatha is to unite pairs of opposites: the positive and the negative, the sun and the moon, the masculine and the feminine.
